I am writing to recommend Shasha as a Mandarin teacher. I took Mandarin classes from her for about 1 year, and found her approach to be very helpful in learning a difficult language! Shasha has good understanding of English vocabulary and grammar, which helped to answer the many questions I had about sentence structure, grammar and phrasing in Mandarin. Additionally, Shasha tailors the content of instruction to the student's needs, and revises and reviews the material to ensure that content is understood and learned well. She was very punctual, and also flexible in her scheduling, which allowed us to continue classes more easily than in a set schedule through a language school.
